Courtney is proud to be a native Texan and has been involved in various types of dance since she was three years old. In high school, she added in competitive cheerleading, where her team won multiple national titles. After graduating from Texas A&M University in College Station with a Bachelor’s in Allied Health, she went on to complete her nursing degree. She now works as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse here in San Antonio. Following college, Courtney wanted to find a workout that incorporated her background in dance and cheerleading. Smart Barre was recommended to her from one of Smart Barre’s Master Instructors in 2019 and after her first class, she was hooked. After a year of taking classes at Smart Barre, she wanted to be able to share her love for the Smart Barre technique through becoming an instructor.
